I started an iodine drip a couple weeks ago. 8 drops a day for 20 gallons,
it really seems to be working great...
 
Terrific colors and healthy beasts. Please give more details about your iodine drip. I'm running a leather/softy tank with a some LPS and have wondered if my leathers need more iodine. I put a couple of drops of Lugols once a week.

i like the black sand, had any issues with it? I heard it is high in iron, because of its volcanic nature
 
Thanks for the compliments everyone...Stylaster, I haven't had any issues with the black sand, I have 40 lbs in a 20 gallon tank. All my levels seem to stay in check. I love the look, it makes a few pieces really "pop".

Gary, i really haven't been running the iodine drip long enough to start
preaching the program yet....I plan to keep a log and pics, then write about it in a few months...
