Hey reefers,

many recommended fish websites for a healthy selection of fish? I have a 15g nano tank and I have been out of the hobby for a few years. Looking for a trustworthy site for healthy fish I can start adding to my tank. Thanks !

The absolute best:

https://tsmaquatics.com they will be back in Feb - they quarantine everything for 30 days

Ordering directly from ORA (https://www.liveaquaria.com/category/3353/ora-fish?c=3352+3353&r=) or Biota (https://shop.thebiotagroup.com/) - the fish under ORA section of Live Aquaria come directly from ORA in FL.

https://drreefsquarantinedfish.com/ - also QT fish, can be a long wait time and communication is sometimes slow as it is pretty much one guy doing everything. He has the largest selection though.

https://fishotel.com/ - you need to sign up for the newsletter and let him know which fish on the list to order

You said healthy so unless the fish are QT, then you can't be sure of the health of a fish that are flipped. The fish sell fast though as it is a special service.

Also Any suggestions … I need a sand sifting star and a tuxedo urchin. I would love an ORA tuxedo but you can’t buy from their site and live aquaria is sold out.

Got an ora red tuxedo I’m pumped ! Also got some pods and phyto to populate my tank. If the urchin goes through all my algae how do I feed him the nori? Just rubberband it to a rock ? I have a nano I don’t want him to starve when he’s done cleaning my tank.

Yes. If you grow coralline, he will eat that too.
