So, as I put
together a fish list I am noticing most (at least the ones I am picking) require a meaty diet.

Thought I would throw this question out their, what type of foods do you feed your fish??

is there a list somewhere of popular choices?? highly recommended??

A good staple food?

do you prefer flakes over prepared?

thanks in advance....

I feed frozen foods almost exclusively. With an occasional feeding of pellets

Favorite frozen foods:
Rods original
Lrs reef frenzy
Pe mysis
Krill
Homemade

Favorite pellet:
New life spectrum
New era marine pellets

Also with frozen make sure you strain it. I personally use 2 starbucks cups. 1 with small holes in the bottom. After doing this you will see how nasty the excess water is. All the excess water is, is added nutrients you don't need in your tank.

I go the frozen route almost exclusively.
I feed squid and shrimp from the seafood counter at the supermarket as a staple diet and I also make a homemade frozen mix. The homemade mix is good because I can make it any size I want for any particular meat eating fish. I very occasionally feed mysis shrimp too.
