I am not a fan of having my auto top off bucket sitting beside my tank. I was wondering if anyone has any cool containers or ways to get rid of the 5 gallon bucket?
I saw a picture awhile back that someone had used a big vase that they had setup with fake branches/stems. somehow they kept the branches separate from the water but I don't remember how. Here's a link to another thread.
"Autoclavable" is a synonym for "you don't need that". If #1 fits, that's a good option. Container Store is fun too....take a look. Sweet, i'll check it out! All those look good only thing I see on a couple is the bottles are not clear. This makes it harder to see how much is left. Good...
Things like vases and side tables are great for hiding top off containers. I was looking for a pic to also see how big your space was. If you have room, IKEA type cube shelves are also good and you can put some decorative stuff in the other cubes.
If your tank is out in a living room type setting, I personally don’t think “any” type of container is going to look good out in the open. You want to look for a way to cover/ disguise it that still allows easy access.
I had some space under my tank so used a 10 gallon tank turned sideway. I have to fill it using a bucket with a spout and a hose but once it is filled it last me about 2 weeks.
