Top Off Water Results from Triton

Randy.. help me out hear again.. thanks by the way for all your input..

My RO/DI water came back .. test results from Triton..

Shows... Cu. Copper... at 2.135 ug/l..
Shows I Iodine at 11 ug/l
Shows P. Phosphorus 6.112 ug/l
Shows PO4 Phosphate .018 mg/l NOTE mg/l

Everything else zero..

At times Triton uses... ug/l for unwanted metals and Li groups..
but
mg/l for macro elements..

what is that convert to for mg/l is ppm yes.. ?

If i understand correct.. a 2.135 is .0021 PPM or Mg/l

That's correct.

I'd be careful that Triton results are not necessarily correct for anything except seawater types of solutions. The iodine especially seems suspect to me if nothing else showed up. No sodium or chloride?

If real, the copper could be a concern at that level. Does your tank water show elevated copper?

If real, and if the tank copper level is elevated, it could be a source.

If tank copper isn't elevated, I wouldn't worry about it. Each 1% top off is only adding 0.002 ug/L (ppb).

Randy knows way more then I do. When I saw copper listed, my thought is, do you have brass fitting on your RO/DI unit? I have seen this before.
