Top to middle corals?

Hey guys, just a quick question. I have a 40 gallon breeder mixed reef tank & was wondering if there is a preferred or recommended coral for middle to top of the tank. Thanks in advance, just trying to fill out some space.

Well, my top to middle corals are typically SPS and LPS, ie: pectinias, mushrooms, hydnophoras, chalices, montiporas, acroporas, cyphastreas, etc.

I would get a PAR meter and determine what your middle to high spot levels are. That will determine what you can put there. If you are experienced reefer you can get away with no meter
