Just noticed this on one of my torches - a couple of the tips were enlarged and a different color. Never seen this before. The torch looks heathy and fully extended. Any reason this happens??

Mine do this all the time.
I noticed 1 does it when it's peek hours, so I'm guessing it's trying to soak up a lot of light.
The cool part is sometimes where those nubs are getting larger they actually form a new tip
There are sectioned off pretty well so I don't think it's a survival or defense thing.
