So I bought a nice Torch and neon green Candy Cane on this past Sunday.
They seemed to be doing great in my Bio Cube 29, stock lighting ect.
Here is what they looked like yesterday.

Woke up this morning to them both looking like this

Water per all checks.
It almost looks like the CC was picked at and eaten off of.
Have usually cleaner crew, 2 Clowns, 2 Fire Fish, 1 Wrasse.
Are they toast and going to or already dying?
Thanks

Hmm
That one Kenya doesn't look so hot in the middle either
How long did you acclimate for?
I would lower the torch so he's not so high up maybe the lighting could be a factor for him.
When was your last water change.
Unless I'm wrong those seem to be the only lps in the tank
Have you checked your cal and alk levels

I had just moved the Kenya, so he was still ******.
Yes cal and all seems to be fine.

Hmm I'm not sure you are right thought candy cane seems to have been eaten almost.
I'm not to sure :/
but maybe someone else will chime in

Here is an update.
Went to the LFS where I got them and the guy thought maybe the Putty I used might have caused this. The reason being all the other corals are fine and the only two that are effected are the ones I used this Little Fishes Putty on. So I pulled the corals out and brought them back to him and he is going to see if he can bring them back for me.
Keep you updated....

Wow that was really nice of them!
I don't see how the putty would really affect them unless it was placed on the actual polyp and if it was something being secreted from the putty I would think it would affect the whole tank. But hopefully he is able to take care of them!
Good luck!

If your cal and alk aren't too low. Then it could be your shrimp, I have a cleaner skunk shrimp that tore the mouth out of one of my wellso, to get food out of it. Now I make sure I feed that shrimp often.

The Fish Store guy thought it was either the putty or the combo of me using the putty and super glue gel.
Both of which he sold me. It's just to weird that both of the corals I got from him and used only the putty and glue on we're effected.
But like I said he took them back while I'm out of town for the week to see what happens. He also did a full water check and everything was really good. So I'll see what happens next week when I get back.
