Hey guys, I’m having issues keeping my torch and frog spawn happy..

I have other LPS (4 hammers, candy canes, a huge Duncan colony, 3 scolys, and gorgonians) as well as 20 acros and various SPS and zoas.

But for some reason these 2 have barely any polyp extension. They’ve been this way for months.

Parameters:
Alk 8.3 Hannah checker
Cal 420 salifert
Mag 1340 salifert
Ph 8.3 apex
Temp 77.9 apex
Nitrates 10 ppm salifert
Phosphates 0.12 Hannah

I’m using a calcium reactor for dosing.

Any help would be appreciated

Are they getting too much flow? To much light intensity?

The frog spawn (yellow circle) is on the bottom of the tank, and the torch (red circle ) is on the lower portion of the rocks to one side

move them into the shade see if that helps, might be the nitrates at 10 ppm as well, but I'm guessing too much light.

I was running into the same issue with my euphylia for a while, man. I ended up cutting off my carbon media reactor and started feeding more. They seem to really like the water a bit dirtier than usual. I don't know if this info would apply to you in any way, but I hope you can get there!
