Anyone know stuff about torches and hammer corals? I have both in my tank. My hammer has been with me for over 6 months and never fully opened. My torch has been with me for 2 months. I have kessils A360 W on my tank. Ammonia is 0, Nitrite 0 Nitrate 10ppm. People keep telling me different things. Too much light, not enough light, too much flow, not enough flow, bad placement. They are at the bottkm of the tank now. I just want them to open. And look good like how they did at the store. Any suggestions?

Thanks
K

You didn't mention anything about the flow in the tank. I have noticed that when I change the flow pattern, if my euphylia's are getting blasted, they tend to retract. The lesser of the flow, the more they extend.

HTH!

Oh well I have a powerhead but when it's on they don't come out, when it's off they don't come out. Right now all flow I have is coming from a hang on the back bio wheel filtration system. I'm hoping to be done with my 75 gallon upgrade this week so I can transfer them into the new tank but as for flow I don't know what else it could be. I have tried putting them lower in less flow areas then higher. Nothing works

Well i work at petco where I got it and I'm pretty sure my water parameters are better than petco's and our tank barely has any flow. However, the other hammers at work are fully open. I'm like what the heck haha
