I have yet to see sweepers on the torch I added about 4 weeks ago. How often should they be seen?

Are we talking tentacles or sweepers, the tentacles come out everyday, the sweepers usually only come out when they feel threated by another coral I believe.

Sweepers. Tentacles are out when the lights are on pretty much consistantly. Unless I clean the glass and get too close

K, sweepers r mainly for defense, so unless another coral is close by u may never see them.

it has its own space right now. so guess thats why
I have 2 torches within several inches of each other and surprisingly I haven't seen them go at it yet, but eventually they will. I have seen my favias send out their sweepers and sting each other, so it does happen.

I have had a hammer and a torch with each other for quite some time in one of my tanks...tried it in my new tank and the hammer died a QUICK death. That, and my coral beauty nipped it.

Don't doubt that. Have my hammers and froggies below my torches. The torches seem to like the higher flow
