I have a torch that is almost 2 years old. It's gone from 1 head to 20. A couple of months ago apparently one head bailed. It didn't die. I put it on a plug and it's happily growing. A week or so ago I noticed early in the morning that 3 heads total in the same area have bailed.
My question, should I ignore it, or cut off the dead heads?
Pic #1 is what it looks like during the day. #2 is in the morning.

I’m curious about this post too. Have you noticed any brown slime coming from the heads that have been affected ?

No. I know what BJD looks like. I've had it on a Duncan and on a Hollywood Stunner. I had to intervene in both cases. The Duncan I had to remove because it progressed. I moved the Stunner into QT and the disease stopped on it's own without any drugs. The stunner has completely recovered and recovered the bare skeleton. I'm considering replacing it in the DT.
