Torch came cracked with pieces breaking off

Ordered 2 torches one came fine the other cracked with a piece that completely broke off. Glued it together to the best I could. Want to know if theirs anything else I could to to help it or is it a goner?

I accidentally cracked the base of a beautiful frogspawn trying to get it off the plug - and as much as plugs aren't pretty now I'm too afraid to do that. I glued it and left it alone for 2 months and it completely recovered. There's hope for it.

How was it bagged was it secure inside the bag on a frag plug secured to a plastic cup, or something like that or was it just loose in the bag?

It was part of styrofoam but came undone
