That, Or it may be just now coming into is own coloration. Many times, wild harvested colonies take a lot of stress before making it into our aquariums. The parameters and lights we run are still quite different from the ocean. They can take months to years to change, and continue subtle changes over time

sorry for bumping an older thread, but I was curious about my torch gaining some color. When i first got it, it looked like your last pic. In the last few days, its been developing a green tint to the polyps. Ill try to take a picture when the lights are on more. How long did it take for yours to full color up?Originally when I purchased this coral a year or so ago it was just your run of the mill purple indo looking torch. You can see that in the picture in my previous tank right after I got it. It has since gotten quite large and has gotten dark purple with this beautiful gold. What do you all make of this?
