Torch Coral Flesh Question

I think the flesh has always been like this, and the light has been off which is why it's deflated. But do you think the flesh is receding
I'm not sure I think it has always been this way.

I'll also add it seems okay everywhere else( like the second picture) minus where the feather duster is.
