Torch Coral fleshy base seems very thin/small

I have a torch coral that I added to my tank about 1-2 weeks ago. Tank has been up and running for about 2 months. Although when the lights went out and the coral retracted I noticed that the fleshy base of the coral seems very small and thin. Is this an indication that this coral is dying?

It's an indication that it may be/have been subjected to poor water quality or parameter swings. Keep your tank as stable as possible and it might recover just fine.

That's up to you. It might have been that way when you bought it...
