I have a torch coral that has split into two heads and looks like it’s splitting into three but for the past two days I have pulled a flat work off each day. I dipped coral and thoroughly inspected it for more worms or eggs. But besides that I have some soft stuff at the base of the torch and I don’t know what it is and if it suppose to be there or not. In the picture it is the lighter part on the far right side. It’s not green like the rest of the skeletal structure and it is soft to the touch. I havent messed with it because I don’t want to harm the coral if it is indeed a part of it. Sorry for the bad quality pictures. I tried my best. Any insight would be great. Thanks.
