So I get home from work and feed the tank. While the fish are eating, I go about inspecting to make sure all is good. Then I see it.... brown strings coming from my torch coral. Stuff coming from 2 of the 3 heads. My heart almost stopped. I’m thinking something has gone horribly wrong. The two heads were a little more closed up than the other one.
Then I remember... corals poop. A few days ago the same two heads caught some of the reef frenzy bits from the morning feeding and ate it. I guess it was time to clean out. Now they are back to fully extended and seem normal again. Like I needed the panic attack as soon as I got home.

That’s what made me panic. But it’s the same two heads that ate a few days ago, nothing from the 3rd head. Now they are are fully extended and normal again.
