Torch Coral - Minimum Tank Size?

Do I need to be concern about the tank size to house a torch coral? Not knowing how large they can grow, I want to be cautious about putting on in the tank.

15 heads, 12 inches across. 9 inches high plus tentacles.

Maybe a couple gallons minimum. But, they would do better in a larger tank. What size are you thinking? A large torch colony could start as a softball size and eventually get to a basketball. Most corals can and you have to trim them.

I have a 15 gallon cube - so perhaps then a Torch coral isn't a good idea if they can get that big? I have a single frogspawn and a duncan coral for now.

You can always frag it to get it down to size. It will need a little room since they can sting other corals.
