Hello all, I need help here my torch has been doing this the past few days. It stiffs up and retracts it’s tentacles half way. It doesn’t flow in the wave and this is all during the daylight cycle. The perimeters are:
Nitrate 100ppm (salifert)
Nitrite 1ppm (“)
Mag 1120 added mag new number 1320
Cal 420
Phos 1
Alk/DKH 7.56 or 135
Salinity 1.026

Looking at your parameters is only as good as stability.

However just looking at the numbers you posted, 100ppm nitrate is very high, you need to work to get down down to around 10-20 to see better health from lps coral like a toch. Your phosphate is also a little high for 1, you should work to get that down to around .05.

And you need to make sure alkalinity is stable and magnesium high as many euphilliya coral do not do good in unstable alkalinity or low magnesium.

IMO, it's always a good idea to get a second opinion on your numbers before making substantive changes that can end up making things worse. Your local LFS can help or if you are not near one get an ICP test.
