It has been a couple of weeks and my pink tip torch coral isn’t fully opening. My other gold torch is. My parameters are:
ALK 8.8
CA 425
MG 1350
Phosphates 0.08
I do have some Cyanobacteria though. I don’t know if it’s that from

I’d try dipping it with something like iodine, Cipro, chemiclean (antibacterial) or an over the counter dip.

From my experience its the waterflow too strong or my stinking cleaner shrimp bothering them.
It could be that your other torch it stinging it. I had 2 torches close together and one would be more open than the other and it will take turns doing that. so one would be bigger one day and the other one on another day.. but i think they became friends now, because their both happy now and touching.

It doesn't look like it's splitting. I would try dipping then moving it a bit further away from that other torch.
Ok I did dip the torch with coralrx and moved it. So would you dip it again

Nope, if you've already dipped and moved it I'd leave it an observe for a few days. I supplement my torches with Reef Roids and Nyos LPS Power, so those are things you can try as well.

I would wait a decent while before dipping again. The purpose of dipping is to kill any parasites on the coral, as I understand, and the process can be stressful to the coral. It's usually a net gain, as temporary stress is a small price to pay for killing pests, but several dips can be a lot for the coral to handle. Like @blaxsun said, observe closely, and if in a few to several days later there's no improvement, then maybe consider another dip

Ok this is how it looked and all of a sudden it’s tentacles have gotten smaller ever since I got the gold torch. It has been moved further from that torch and dipped in coral rx once.

This is how it looks now. You can see it’s mouth but it’s tentacles are gone/really tiny. I think it’s still alive. It’s been like this for about a month now

There's still flesh so hopefully, definitely very retracted though. Do some tests to check those params but maybe try a dip. I'm no expert on this, but many here are. They rarely hurt and at this point, especially if it's been a month, you might need some more significant measures to be taken.

Also, if you haven't, take your water to be tested at an LFS. Sometimes a test kit might be expired, you might be doing something wrong in the testing process to give a faulty readying (I've done that before), all sorts of things. It's always good to have a confirmation, just do your tests the same day you get them to do the same
