ok so move it away from the other torch?Coral warfare from the adjacent torch maybe?
Could it also be because it’s splitting?Coral warfare from the adjacent torch maybe?
It doesn't look like it's splitting. I would try dipping then moving it a bit further away from that other torch.Could it also be because it’s splitting?
Ok I did dip the torch with coralrx and moved it. So would you dip it againIt doesn't look like it's splitting. I would try dipping then moving it a bit further away from that other torch.
+1 to this. They look like they'd be touching when openCoral warfare from the adjacent torch maybe?
Nope, if you've already dipped and moved it I'd leave it an observe for a few days. I supplement my torches with Reef Roids and Nyos LPS Power, so those are things you can try as well.Ok I did dip the torch with coralrx and moved it. So would you dip it again
Ok this is how it looked and all of a sudden it’s tentacles have gotten smaller ever since I got the gold torch. It has been moved further from that torch and dipped in coral rx once.I would wait a decent while before dipping again. The purpose of dipping is to kill any parasites on the coral, as I understand, and the process can be stressful to the coral. It's usually a net gain, as temporary stress is a small price to pay for killing pests, but several dips can be a lot for the coral to handle. Like @blaxsun said, observe closely, and if in a few to several days later there's no improvement, then maybe consider another dip
This is how it looks now. You can see it’s mouth but it’s tentacles are gone/really tiny. I think it’s still alive. It’s been like this for about a month nowI would wait a decent while before dipping again.
