Never really thought of it becoming an issue but the torch on the left I’ve had for awhile on sand bed zero issues and just bought the one on the right and he suggested getting it off the sand bed I’ve only had it there for 30 minutes so hasn’t even fully opened should I even be concerned with them both being on the sand bed ?

Just depends on how you see them acclimating over the coming weeks. They will tell you if they like the flow and light there.

One on left is just one head and huge and happy the other I hope will be the same like you said time will tell.

Only place that doesn't work well in my experience is directly in front of powerhead or return pump flow. Limits the flow throughout the tank and can beat up some torches pretty quick.
