I always had my lights set so that I was getting 250 par on my torch corals. But I always had a hot spot in the middle that torches didn't do well. That was around 275. I asked a couple different people ( a couple coral vendors too) I know that always seemed to have nice torch growth and they seemed to average 170- 200 par was their sweet spot. While one of my friends said 230-240 was his.
I dropped mine down to about 175- 185 across the center of my tank.
Ideally the same PAR it grew under. They will adapt to different light levels and different varieties will have different requirements so knowing the variety you have would be helpful.
