Hey folks!
I have this torch coral, and I have had it for several months. For the past, I'd say 7 weeks, its polyp extension has been very poor. I had it in a 10G and it started to retract. I lost a hammer to Brown Jelly in that tank. I moved it over to a larger tank and it has showed no sign of the jelly, it eats reed roids and otherwise looks okay. Its been in my 30 gallon tank about a a month and a half.
Water params-
Sal 1.025
Po4 0.01
Nitrate 5-10
Calcium 480
Mg - i dont have a reliable test
Alk 7.8 (i keep a natural seawater level)
I keep SPS in this tank and they are thriving
Here is before and now. You can see the Dragon soul torch that is doing very well right next to it.
Any advice or experience is much appreciated!

Being in a sps tank, I would start by checking to see if it is getting blown around from to strong of flow. I would also look into the lighting, is it in a high par area? I have torches in my mixed reef tank, my flow is strong, roughly 40 plus turnover, but I have my torch on a area where, due to the variable speed of my pumps, it has time to relax in between stronger pulses. Also, did you dip it before moving it. You can dip it in some iodine based dip to help it heal if their are any possible problems.

Thanks for your advice! I moved it today to an area where the flow is less direct. I talked to the LFS where i got it from and they recommended a higher par area. So I combined your suggestion and put it in a place where both of those conditions exist. It seems to be doing better, not where I would like it to be, but i know it may take some time for the coral to adjust to its new spot. And yes! I did dip it before the move! Thanks! Fingers crossed!
