Please see the below picture.
Parameters have been stable, I did increase the flow quite a bit yesterday but turned it way down after noticing this today. It appears that the flesh of the coral is peeling away from the skeleton. It has gotten worse through the day..

I moved it into a lower flow area and lowered the pump power as i mentioned.. Any advice on what to do or look out for?

I can sorta see what you are saying. Not much you could do. I would face that side opposite of the flow and monitor it. Take a look at it during the night when the polyps go in, see how they look resting in the skeleton. It should be fine. If they start bailing out we may need to revisit

THis coral used to have two heads... one totally bailed out maybe a month ago. The whole polyp just popped right out of the skeleton.. no bleaching.. I assumed it was from some kind of trauma when i dipped it and the polyp hit the bottom of the bucket.
I guess ill just keep an eye on it and try to keep the flow down so it doesnt get worse.

Thank you!

I moved the coral to a very low flow area and have been target feeding reefchili twice a week but the polyp is barely hanging on to the skeleton and the coral has not extended or retracted its polyps. Its a matter of time before it dies.

Had this happen recently with my Rasta torch. Unfortunately once it started I couldn’t seem to find a way to fix it. I dipped it and place in low flow and target fed. It still ended up dying. Hard to tell if I would have left it alone if it would have recovered or not. Sucks to see hope yours recovers

Ive heard of some people putting a drop of superglue where the polyp is tearing from the skeleton. I may try that if there is a next time, due to the outcome of this one.

I think this was caused by too high of flow FWIW.
