Torch coral question.

By brother gave me a torch coral. When I got it at night it's sweeper tentacles would come out. Not anymore tho? It's doing fine. Any reason why it's sweeper tentacles would stop coming out?

No....they can send, or not send them out for many reasons....doesn't mean the coral isn't doing fine. I have multiple torches and none of them ever throw out their sweepers. Maybe it was crowded in the old tank with other coral species but has more room in your tank?

Normally yes......although they are both Euphyllia, the torches will usually sting just about everything. Every once in a while they can touch with hammers or frogspawn, but not usually.

My torches sting everything they touch, even other Euphyllia.
