Torch coral question

Sorry I am new to reefing but is this white thing suppose to be in

my torch coral? Hope you can see it in the picture.

Welcome to R2R and do not be sorry for a question, that is what we are here for. Give it a day or so and see if it is still there. Myself I can kind of see what you are picturing but not well enough to answer

Yeah hard to tell. Is that the mouth?

Check at night and see if There is something that looks like a little fan that goes in and out. It looks like it's the mouth to me.
