Hey y’all, I been noticing my torch stretching its base a lot. Is this sign of growing skeleton? Or looking for more light? Thanks

I always look at if the base is fully out and the tentacles are flowing then its HAPPY!!!

No need to worry.
I have another question. I have another torch that the base is stretching and Looked full but the tentacles wasn’t stretch long like it use to be these past week. Is that a sign of splitting? it’s my other curiosity

Not that I am aware of, I have noticed that corals have moods like anything else, they seem to stretch out sometimes while not others. I have also noticed that my torch corals stretch out more when my T5's are off and the LED's are more in the blue phase of the light schedule, aka, morning and evening's. During the day when all my lights are on they produce some high par for my SPS dominate tank.
