I've had a nice torch for a couple weeks, seems to be pretty happy, pretty good size, occasionally through the day it seems to be partially closed, and even more so in the middle as if it might be splitting soon. Its placed right in the middle/slightly above exact middle in a 19" tall tank, 55 gallon, 48" long, there's t5 fixture with 2 half blue half white bulbs 10,000K each, and a 46" strip of blue leds. Not sure if its slightly stressed sometimes or if its about to split

Bottom pic looks pretty dog gone good to me. I'd not worry about that one.

Looks okay to me too. They are like anemones sometimes they will retract and then open up. Mine loves strong flow.

^ Looks fine. My torch loves good flow and medium light, plus they can be fussy sometimes by closing up for a while.

Thanks for the input, I only have one small power head right now, but I'm getting a jeabo wp-25 this weekend

Hi guys

How long it takes for torch coral to open ?

I've got mine for 2 days now and 1/3 it's out . Tissue shrink a bit on the skeleton as well.
