Hi all,

I changed the flow in my tank as it was to much around the area that's going to be my hammers, frogspawn area and one of the side effects was my torch coral got a bit to much flow, I moved it into a different area yesterday and now I'm getting normal extension on two of the heads and the third head is starting to extend again.

But two of the heads are completely retracted into the skeleton still and there's some white coming from one of the heads which can be seen in the photo, My hammer corals, Acan, chalice, montipora playing and encrusting are all ok.

Nitrates 5ppm
Phosphate 0.03
Ca 430
Alk 10.7
Mag 1350 or 1400

I think the answer lays in what you said. Originally too much flow, a coral dip might help with damaged tissue and then give it time to heal. Doesn't look like an infection so give it time

I would just give it time and would not dip it right now. It might recover in time but dipping would likely stress the animal more than it already is.
Good luck..
