Torch coral

Got this torch coral about a week ago and it has been acclimating well, polyps extended out a couple inches but like 5 minutes ago it bunched up and this stringy stuff has started to slowly rise from it. Unsure what it is…

Got this torch coral about a week ago and it has been acclimating well, polyps extended out a couple inches but like 5 minutes ago it bunched up and this stringy stuff has started to slowly rise from it. Unsure what it is…

1 of 2 things… it’s either pooping, which in this case once it’s done it should return to form in a few hours… or it’s brown jelly disease, which you don’t want at all. Hoping it’s the first one

Assuming it was poop as it looks much happier now. Thanks for the replies all.
