I have a lovely torch coral that has 4 beads on it. One head isn't coming out whereas tbe others are huge. Us it too close to another torch coral?

It is probably because it is not receiving adequate light and water flow causing it to not open up. As far as I know, Euphyllia species don’t sting each other though certain Torch corals have been known to sting neighboring Torches. I would break apart the smaller one and move it to another area of your tank away from other Torch corals.

It’s hard to say. My advice would be to relax and not worry about it. Every one of us has had an acropora or LPS colony pull all its polyps suddenly mid-day and thought “oh god! This is the end!!!” only to have it open up 15 minutes later and be fine.

Watch out for white skeleton- at which point the only thing you can do is move it. Honestly if it was a new coral and one head died, I probably still wouldn’t enter panic mode. Especially in a new tank.
