This head on my torch suddenly is in really bad shape. Not sure what to do

Kinda looks like brown jelly disease.
I would do an iodine dip and look up brown jelly disease. I’m still trying to figure out how to save corals from this disease. Iodine dips are only temporary relief.

+1 brown jelly. If they are two separate heads I would consider splitting them or the same could happen to the other. Also do the iodine dip but I also have never been able to save anything from brown jelly.

Anyone know of a good video for splitting the heads? haven't been able to find one yet

I had this issue on a hammer coral, had maybe 8 heads. They all started not opening fully, then one day notices stringy brown stuff on one head. I first did a dip in 20% peroxide 80% water for 10 minutes while gently brushing with a soft brush. I rinsed in tank water then went into a coral rx dip. Ended up losing 3 heads that I cut off. The others have been opening back up to normal a week later

Chemi Clean Dip...2 1/2 scoops per quart of tank water...20 to 30 min with air...you can save the dip to reuse. if something else get infected.
