torch gaping?

havent seen anything on the website about this, very confused whats going on torch was fine have had it for a few months or so hasnt had a problem till now. orginally had some bubbling at the base by the tenticles and now is semi closed w stringy tenticles and gaping? is it about to split or die, very confused. photos below

thats what im hoping for, idk what the signs n symptoms of a torch splitting are so its had me a little worried

just looks like exposed skeleton. Look when I fragged my micronesian torch you can see how thr skeleton got exposed. I'm thinking a result of that. How long have you had the frag? how old is your tank? the polyps don't look very extended. (skeleton exposure at the bottom)

yea i was just showin where the bubbling was which was like at the base where the tenticles are. but ive had it for a little longer than a month or two hasnt been fragged recently, and the tank has been up for 4 or 5+ months. its been good until the other day. was trying to get some info on signs of splitting for torches

I still think it's a place where it had been fragged, mine has been fragged for a couple of months and looks like that still. At any rate I don't think it'd splitting because there isn't too much elongation of the head that I can tell. Do the polyps extend very far, or do they look stringy like in the picture all the time?
