Iodine dip as soon as possible, put in low flow and low light and let it recover. You may need to repeat iodine dips. Aim for dark tea color for 5 mins.
you may be able to save it with the iodine dips as stated above.
Some places don’t cover delayed shipment as DOA but I would also argue that shipping a coral this close to the holidays is negligent. Many packages get delayed or lost as the shipping companies are overwhelmed. In the future ask them to ship a week or two past the holidays.
hopefully they will credit or refund you out of good faith.
Don’t think this is gonna make it either.... it’s declining fast as well. Shipment was delayed 20 hours and even with a heat pack the water was roughly 60 degrees or less in the bags.
I've had a couple shipments with torch corals get delayed by 24 hours.
Just had one last week with 2 in the box.
One melted mostly in the bag and had a small amount of color the first 12 hours and by the next morning was completely gone.
The second one is still barely hanging on and I doubt it will survive.
My vendor offered to replace the shipment right away.
