Torch grabbing hammer coral polyp?

A torch has “grabbed” a polyp from a neighboring hammer coral. Has anyone seen this before?

Yes. A torch coral is a aggressive coral and it is fighting for space.
They are too close to each other.
It will kill the hammer, given enough time.
