Have moved my torch into bigger yank today and I know it's gonna sulk for a day or 2 maybe but I have noticed this brown patch witch have not seen before as doesn't normally close up that much. Any ideas what it is? And if I need to do anything with it . Thanks in advance for any help from Best forum for advice ;-)

The brown area to me looks like maybe a sponge. Nothing to worry about if it is. Also if you took it out of water during move. The sponge may die off anyway. Many die when exposed to air.

Brown jelly is more tan film, and easily blows off. It also would be on the polyp flesh.

Are the lights off. Sometimes they suck in when lights are off. If the polyps that are sucked in look deflated it's the first stage of brown jelly. If they are deflated I would dip in a 1 peroxide to 10 water dip for 10 minutes. Do it a every 2 to 3 days for like 10 days.

The coral extends as it should everyday and is out again today without any issues I be level it shrivelled up due to the move yesterday but as it doesn't normally shrivel up I haven't noticed it before. The head itself wasn't any brown just the round patch on the side. The coral seems and looks happy and doesn't affect it just wondered what it was .

It does not look as if it has brown jelly. A blast from a turkey baster will tell if you have brown jelly on any parts. Do not stress the coral with a dip if not needed.
