Hi guys wondering if you can ID this torch for me. I got a really nice euphyllia pack from a local member here. Very happy with the frags from @ahammer

He had the torch listed as a wwc 24k gold. Wondering if that is accurate or if it is just your standard purple with green tips. Does seem to have a slight gold hue to the purple but tough to say. Not that it really matters as I love the pieces just curious for my own newbie knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

In most cases the vendor is making up the name for their corals.
Similar corals have because of that different names.
It’s a beauty, keep it healthy and growing.
Thank you

I do love this coral. Finally finding the right placement for it. It definitely has been more finicky than the other euphyllias

Aussie 24k gold don’t have purple or green in them
This is a common torch while nice it’s not rare or special

As far as it being as Aussie it really hard to tell. This could be an Aussie could be an indo

Imo torches tend to like a little more flow than most euphylias I also find with them it’s better to leave them in one place and let them get used to the spot than constantly moving them around.

It would seem that way. It seems to like the stronger varied flow where as I had to lower my flow for the hammers.

I left it in the same spot for a couple weeks and wasn't fully extending. I just moved it up higher last night and this morning was the furthest I have seen it open.

Now that it's open I'm happy to see it has two mouths
