Yes it's very easy to tell them apart. Aussie Torches are much more uniform, their tentacles are all roughly the same length and indo have long and medium length tentacles. Here is a video that kinda shows it, towards the end of the video you'll see a large dragon soul (indo torch) and the differences in tentacles is easily seen
