Can anyone help me identify this torch? Yellow/green tips and yellow base.

You identified it yourself. You even called it a torch and said it was different shades of green...you want scientific name or trade name for branding right purposes?! Lol.
E.g. you are curious about the coral or the price? $? Lol

+1 here

Most of the "fancy" names you see are nothing more than marketing. If a torch had blue tips and you could suck an extra hundred bucks out of a buyer by naming it "Blue tipped Torch" instead of Euphyllia glabrescens?

Looks like a typical dark green torch with yellowish tips and a bright green/yellowish mouth. This is one from my supplier without the bright green mouth

here’s another one

and then other one

If your torch is from Indonesia, it’s a somewhat hardy coral. Still going to need pristine water quality. Torches from Australia are a little bit more difficult to maintain than Indonesia torches, especially the solid gold torches.

No I was curious for the name since ppl pay by name, someone wanted to buy it for a high price when I got it for $40

for price i would say a store would sell it anywhere from 60-90 so usually hobbyist to hobbyist a bit lower price. at $40 it was a very good buy.

there is no real name for this as it is a pretty normal colored torch, usually just called whatever the color is so for this one; green with yellow tips or green with fluorescent green tips

The problem is a lot of torches... every vender has their own name for them. Because of this... the names have little meaning except for a few specific torches. Even then.. torches don't come with certificates of lineage. So it it really a frag of that torch or just what that person is calling it because it is similar?

The one area names seem to be helpful is when looking for specific SPS. Probably because these are heavily aquacultured and generally identifiable.

For $40, you stole that torch. Nice going. My LFS would put that on his floor at $100, at least. Especially with the bright green/yellow mouth. That’s a nice little feature, especially if you like to look at your corals from above.
