Hey everyone,

just received a torch I bought in a live sale a few minutes ago.
In the jar, I see three of the tips that have bailed out.
I’ve read in the past, these can often produce another colony, but can’t find any information on how to best secure these tiny guys.
Any ideas?

That is false. A new colony will not grow from the tip of a tentacle. If the whole entire torch polyp bails out there is a chance for a new colony to grow but the chances even with the whole polyp are very very low. Just toss them, if you put them in the tank and they float around they can stick to an sting other coral.
