Hello. My torch hasn’t been looking good for the past month. It’s still extending somewhat but not as upright as before. All the polyps are down and messy. They don’t reach for the light or sway in the current. There has been no lighting or flow change. I feed Reef Energy Ab+ daily
Par Range 180-220
Mag 1340
Cal 450
Alk 9
SG 1.026
Phosphate 0.1
Nitrates 0 (been having bad GHA issues sucking all my nutrients for a few months)

Some of my other LPS like the hammer are also pretty retracted but the torch started looking like this 1 month before. Any insight would be appreciated

To me it just looks like they are struggling the way that corals struggle through new tank syndrome, you can see the hair algae basically trying to grow on the coral. The algae is competing with the corals for nutrients, it can also mess with oxygen and ph levels at night. Euphyllia (sp) are more sensitive corals IMO, and appreciate a more stable tank. I would focus on manually removing as much algae as possible and stabilizing the water parameters as much as possible.

I know it’s kinda old but my opinion is too much light and not enough nitrate. Euphellia absolutely need nitrates no way around it. How’s it doing right now?
