Torch pooping or not doing well? releasing brown thin jellyish liquid that dissolves

it was going to sleep, i turned the light back on to take this pic. just wondering if anyone is familiar with this? i tried to grab it and it dissolved

Looks like BJD to me Hope I am wrong..
Did you see if it came out from the center? or was it kinda all around more towards the outside of the polyp?

Looks like it’s releasing zooxanthellae which is its energy blocks
Stress likely causing this due to either too much light, water flow or both
Also can be low calcium, temperature too warm or low salinity

i’ve had it about a month he has been doing great. my calcium is a little low, going to add some in the morning

Is there any flow?
I have 2 torches in a 5 month old tank and both have split and doing very well. Even with Nitrates at 40%

Hey! update my torch is doing good today. i guess that was normal. i also did a tank upgrade 14->45 gallons, much higher flow and added calcium. he looks great

i think so too. he had been acting droopy the few days leading up to it and then he was bigger than ever the next day ️ same.
