Consider your acclimation process. Consider whether or not recent new corals are aquaculture or wild-caught. To a lesser extent consider the location of the torches, water flow, or light ; if light intensity is too strong may cause it to die, possible but even more less likely is too little light.

Most likely your lighting and flow conditions. Did you light acclimate them as well? Like above poster aquaphilnj said, where they are from will give you some insight on what conditions are favorable.

These were two Aussie torches. I always start my torches on the bottom. My other four torches are even still at the bottom. I had the two new torches situated in the areas that my other torches are. Flow is somewhere in the middle range for them. And it not directly blasting them. The last torch that didn’t make it was coming out a tiny bit but then retracted and died during the night.

I'm big on aquacultured corals, if corals are wild-caught the chances of living decrease. I feel I should have emphasized this a little more in my last post. I don't know how big of a difference it makes.

However, for example I follow certain reefers online, and have heard Acro corals are 10 times more likely to die if they're wild caught and there is almost nothing you can do. But your situation is different. I wish I had more input. : - [

That really stinks! Did you dip them? I have let them acclimate for a day or two then dipped in coral rx.
