Yes, I am talking about the flesh. It always showed some of the skeleton but it appears it is ever so slightly getting worse.If your talking about the flesh receding from the bottom upwards, that’s not a good thing.
We want that flesh to be white, and down the branch.
That’s good to hear. The flesh has receded about an inch above the frag bottom now but it has been growing taller pretty rapidly. Today during the water change, it closed up for the first time in a while. I saw that one head split and it appears the other one is starting also.Looks fine to me, as long as you have at least an inch of flesh that isn’t rapidly receding, it’s healthy. Seeing that it’s green past the flesh means it’s only very slowly receded, which will happen normally as the torch grows “taller” (you aren’t going to have 4” of flesh as the torch grows taller/longer). As long as you don’t see white skeleton at the bottom (from a rapidly receding base), you’re likely fine.
