Torch splitting or bail out?

Quick update after 3 days of dipping and Magnesium addition.
Torch started to get relax and I hope it is going to attach back to the skeleton soon. The distance between the skeleton and the head part is decreased.

Update (5th day).
I think my torch is the winner of the bailout process.
What do you think?

Hard to say, I do still see the top of the corallite structure. But, it is still connected which is great.
What you want to see as it grows is the flesh covering the new white skeleton growth. That would be 100% healthy to see that. Should cover it an inch or two as it grows.

Keep up the good work!

Hi all,
A small update after 11 days,
2 times water change in these 11 days.
Magnesium dosing daily
Brightwell restor on the 5th and 10th days.
Feeding with Seachem phytoplankton 3 times in 11 days.

It's getting better day by day.

Excellent work!
Post your test numbers please.

Sure.
KH/Alk 8
Mg 1170
Nitrate 0.5
Calcium 400
Phosphate 0

Mg is still low but it's raising slowly. I'm dosing 2 caps of Brightwell Magnesion every day.
IMO, dose more mag.
Your original mag number was 1200.
Now you are 1170.
Mag is one that can be ramped up quickly. Need to be in the 1350 range.
Try 4 cap fulls. 2 in morning, 2 at night.

Also, need to get phosphate off of zero.
This is what coral need for food.
Do you have anything to dose? You could do high po4 foods also.
Reefroids, pellets or flake are all good choices.

This is the latest update after 2 months. Bailed out part of the torch still detached from the skeleton but looks healthy.

Nice on the updates! Ive never had a euphyllia "reattach" to the skeleton. Not sure if it can. I imagine the flesh would seal itself off, like scab over? Anyway 2 months is great, definitely surprising.

Hello again and again.
I see some strange things on my survivor Torch after the half-bailing out process.
It looks like a brown jelly disease but I want your opinions. Maybe it's repairing the tissue?

If it is brown jelly, I'm planning to throw it away.

Thanks

I'm not seeing brown jelly.
I am seeing more skeleton that is bright white. That means more tissue loss.
Post parameters please.
I think you can also give them a tad more flow too.

I think its just ripping flesh but its hard to tell. My torches get mad if im under 1380 mag.

that head is fully bailing or has baled out.

Also looks like an aptasia at the bottom which probably is not helping.
