Torch splitting or something wrong?

Looks like there are 5 heads! However the salinity was high and I just lowered it today!! I am posting pics from earlier with lights on...it was definitely not st its best today :(

Top down is hard to tell if its receding or anything but here's my guess.

It was growing and splitting, puffed up and happy. Then you dropped the salinity so now it's kinda freaking out.

The big question is how fast did you drop it? And did you try and maintain your alk cal and mag while or after dropping the salinity?
 
All numbers are good. I checked them after water was dropped.
Alk was 7 it always is a 7 although I dose it daily
Nitrites 0
Ammonia 0
Calcium 440
Ph 8.0
Salinity was 1.029 now 1.026
77.7 is the temp
Nitrates was around 5.0

It looks cracked but it's happy other wise during the day. I also never noticed so many heads. Looks like 4 or 5

agree w all ,29 pretty high burns corals imo,also imo 7 little low on alk ,happy reefing ,nice torch

Yes I have never really got it above 7 too often just figured consistency was better for the coral...all but 2 of my corals are happy....hopefully this guy continues to grow
