It’s growing a second head and has 2 mouths but hasn’t fully seperatedI believe that torches don't split like anemones do. they would be growing a new head on the side of the coral trunk or w/e it's called
Oh yeah in that case it sounds like its growing a new head and will separate soon. My knowledge is limited tho so take what I say with a grain of saltIt’s growing a second head and has 2 mouths but hasn’t fully seperated
Doesn't the first picture show it starting to figure 8 with the flesh in between the "2" heads lifting up and starting to pinch tho? indicating that its starting the process. Op saying that it has 2 mouths makes it seem like its already in the process isn't it?That’s not how torches split. The single head would start to pinch and form a shape like the figure 8 and then continue until there are 2 separate distinct heads. This usually take several months. Doesn’t look like your torch is splitting just yet.

I have 2 that have split. They elongate, start to form almost a figure 8 that eventually becomes the saddle between 2 new heads. Yours looks like the beginning of a split. This guy was about golf ball sized single head August of last year.I believe that torches don't split like anemones do. they would be growing a new head on the side of the coral trunk or w/e it's called
