I have had this torch for about a month now and it was fine for the first few weeks, but now it just stays closed up all the time. I thought maybe it could be because of my water parameters (other than water changes I put kalkwasser in my ATO) so I started doing more frequent water changes with red sea coral pro, but nothing seems to get it to open up. I moved it up a little closer to the lights and still nothing. Does anyone know why it is staying closed and how I can get it to open again?

What lights are you using?
Is your tank consuming enough alk that you need Kalk in your Ato? If your doing more water changes your alk could be creeping up.

Does it come out at all ? What kind of flow does it have ?? It looks like it's about to split when mine started to split it started acting funny but not that it is two heads it is out just fine.

I have two kessil a360we and I only put enough kalk in the ato to maintain calcium and alk to a narrow range. I have played around with the flow turning it down and up and still it doesnt come out at all. I guess its possible that it could be splitting and thats the reason why. I took another pic with a little better angle does it look like it is splitting?
