Torch stinging Nem?

I was always under the impression the nem would ultimately win versus any coral but one of them has gone inside his rock after the torch stung him. I know he’ll move where he’s happy but it just surprised me. Any experiences like this?

My son's nem moved away from his frogspawn.

Ya I have 4 nems. Started with one and it split. Kinda figured eventually the nems would sting everything in the tank, then this morning I see the torch stinging the nem and now he’s gone. Lol
